PhotographyBB released their latest on-line e-magazine for the month of February. It is the magazine’s 2nd Anniversary and with that comes new types of articles and features. The folks at PhotographyBB have been gracious in providing me a great opportunity to share with you and their readers monthly in a new column called, “Social Media for Photographers”.
This issue is full of great articles, tips, techniques, and perspectives. Kenneth Fagan brings you some great photos and an insightful article about the Olympic games held in Vancouver, Canada. Vancouver is the home of PhotographyBB.
Rob Davidson presents a road trip through the Canadian Rockies with some very beautiful images of the Icefield Parkway. Dave Seeram, Editor and Author of PhotographyBB Online Magazine, lends his expertise in an article that challenges professional photographers to rethink the role of amateurs in the photography business. He also writes to the opportunity given photographers with the advent of the Olympics.
The photographer spotlight falls on Kevin Kubota this month. PhotographyBB interviews him. He is regarded as one of the worlds top 10 wedding photographers.
Rounding off the mission and message of PhotographyBB Online are photography tips, techniques, equipment, and assignment winners brought to you by Jon D. Ayers, Grady Layman, Jay Livens, John Ogden, and Jennifer Farley. David duChemin makes his selection for the winner in the special assignment from January, “A Thousand Words, A Single Frame”.
Finally, see the Flickr Group photographs selected from PhotographyBB’s Flickr Group. Again, beautiful images brought to you by the members of that group and selected for publication in the magazine.
As always, I would like to refer you to PhotographyBB Online, their magazine, and forums. It is an excellent resource for photographers at every level. Please take a moment and stop by to see what is new on their website, in their forums, or download the magazine for free.
